Airport Parking

Directions and parking procedures

When using airport parking please make sure you have directions to your car park, the car park telephone number, and details of the entry and exit procedures for the car park.

Directions are included on the customer confirmations. Directions and maps serve as a guide only. We recommend you use them in conjunction with an up-to-date road atlas.

Your voucher is only valid in the car park you have booked.

Should you park elsewhere you will be charged locally and Lowcosttravelextras will not reimburse you.

Car park entry/exit procedures

Entry and exit procedures vary at each car park. Please see information on your confirmation.

If you are charged by the car park because you do not follow the correct entry or exit procedures or present your confirmation voucher, Lowcosttravelextras may not be able to obtain refunds on your behalf.

Airport transfers

24-hour transfers to and from the airport are included in the Lowcosttravelextras price, unless the airport is within walking distance or not operational 24 hours.

Please make sure you have the transfer schedule for your car park and that the times of operation suit your requirements.

Minimum stays

Minimum stays and charges apply at some car parks.

If you wish to stay for fewer days then you may, but the cost of the minimum duration is payable. This is made clear during the booking process.

Daily prices may vary according to the date and length of stay. Stays of fewer than eight days may attract a higher daily rate.

Car keys

In the interests of efficient operation you must be prepared to leave your car keys with car park staff if requested to do so.

Special needs parking

Where disabled facilities are provided, please ensure these are suitable for your individual needs.

Insurance

All parking is subject to the terms and conditions of the individual car park: these are available on request from the car park.

Ensure no valuables are left in the vehicle, as Lowcosttravelextras will not accept liability.

Parking is always at the vehicle-owner's risk.

High-sided or unusually wide vehicles

Not all car parks can accommodate high-sided or large vehicles due to their own policies or height restrictions.

If the car park can accommodate larger vehicles then there may be an extra charge. Please check with Lowcosttravelextras before booking.

Meet and Greet parking

If you have booked Meet and Greet parking, (where you are met at the terminal by a driver who takes your car away to secured storage for you), you may need to reconfirm your booking direct with the parking operator prior to your date of travel, giving your Lowcostravelextras booking reference.

Please check your booking confirmation for details.

Supplements may be charged for service outside normal hours and on all public and bank holidays, payable directly to the parking operator.

Car Hire

Insurance Information

Our rates include: Unlimited mileage (except with some types of vehicles in certain locations), collision damage waiver (unless caused by misuse), third party insurance cover (including the supplementary liability insurance in the USA, unless requested otherwise), theft protection insurance, government taxes and/or state imposed taxes (also bail bond in Spain). N.B. Collision Damage Waiver: In some cases an excess charge is payable in the case of vehicles being returned damaged. Please check in the full details / other information section or alternatively contact the reservations department.

Theft Protection

In some countries an excess charge is applied if the vehicle is actually stolen. If keys cannot be returned clients are still liable even if excess cover is purchased locally. Details should be requested at the time of booking.

Personal belongings are not covered should they be stolen from the vehicle.

Items not included

Personal Accident Insurance (optional), special request items (roof racks, baby seats, etc), additional drivers and/or young driver surcharges, where applicable. Out of office hours delivery fee if applicable, one-way charges if applicable, cross border fees if applicable.

IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT, IN COMMON WITH MOST CAR RENTAL COMPANIES, THE INSURANCE COVER OFFERED DOES NOT COVER TYRES/WHEELS, PUNCTURES, WINDSCREENS, INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE, CONTENTS OF THE CAR IN THE EVENT OF THEFT, UNDERCARRIAGE, ROOF DAMAGE (IF ROOF RACK IS FITTED), WING MIRRORS AND CODED KEYS (WHETHER LOST OR LOCKED IN VEHICLE). VEHICLES ARE NOT COVERED UNDER INSURANCE WHEN DRIVING ON UNMADE ROADS OR TAKEN INTO ANOTHER COUNTRY WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION/PERMISSION.

Seasonal Rates

Where seasonal rates apply, the applicable rate will be the rate ruling on the date of collection, even if the period of hire extends into another season, unless otherwise advised.

Personal Accident Insurance

This is an optional insurance, which is usually covered by your holiday insurance policy (please check your policy).

Lowcosttravelextras.com cannot accept liability for any charges incurred on documentation signed for and accepted locally.

Driving licence

Hirers/drivers must produce a full driving licence (both parts for the new UK licence holders), NO PHOTOCOPIES ACCEPTED, held for at least one year in most countries (please check when booking). The car rental company reserves the right to refuse renting a car to a person with endorsements on their licence or who, in their opinion, is unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such cases, your contract with us becomes void and we will have no further liability to the hirer. It is advisable at all times and in all countries that drivers carry ID i.e. passport or international driving licence. In some countries clients who do not hold a licence in English will be required to produce an international licence as well.

Age Limits

These vary from country to country. The normal is that drivers must be 21 years or over with at least 12 months minimum driving experience. Please check at time of booking. In some countries there is an additional surcharge payable locally for drivers under 25 years, please check when booking.

Car groups/Models

All bookings are confirmed by group and vehicles supplied may be a different make and model to that advertised. In such cases we reserve the right to have a vehicle of similar size/specification supplied. Cars are insured to carry the maximum number of passengers. Lowcosttravelextras.com cannot be held responsible if the vehicle is not large enough to fit all passengers and their luggage.

Vehicle Suitability

Upon collection of your vehicle and during the hire, if you are dissatisfied in any way with the standard of the vehicle, you must report this to the rental supplier immediately and to Lowcostravelextras.com in writing within 28 days of your return.

Failure to do so may result in any claims not being accepted or settled by Lowcostravelextras.com

Mechanical Difficulties

In case of breakdown or mechanical difficulties, you must immediately call the car hire company, whose telephone number will appear on the rental agreement. Authority to obtain repairs or replacement cars must be given by the local car hire company. If you are involved in an accident in the hire car, the local police and the car hire company MUST be informed, even if there is no damage excess. Keep copies of any relevant documentation you are asked to complete.

Deposits

Cars are usually supplied with a full tank of fuel and this is charged for at the time of collection. This does vary however, and in some countries other arrangements may apply. If clients enter into a different agreement locally with the supplier regarding the fuel option, Lowcosttravelextras.com cannot be held liable. In most cases, a valid major credit card with available credit will be required to cover fuel and any other extras payable locally. Deposits against damage are required in some countries and a major credit card can be used for these purposes. The credit card holder should be the main driver otherwise additional charges may apply. Debit cards are not accepted for deposit purposes and cash deposits are seldom accepted (please check when booking).

Delivery/Collection

This is normally free at airports during normal daylight/working hours (this varies locally and can be advised at the time of booking). If an out-of-hours service can be provided there will be a local fee. If the flight is delayed you may incur additional charges for waiting time. A rental voucher must be presented to the supplier on arrival: Lowcosttravelextras.com cannot be held responsible if a rental is rejected due to the voucher not being available.

Driving Areas

Generally vehicles may be taken out of the original country of hire. There may be a local charge for this service (check with reservations). Vehicles must not be taken into some Eastern European countries or Morocco. Cars may not be taken into Mexico from the USA. Clients wishing to travel into other countries must make this known when placing a reservation and permission must be requested at all times.

Special Requests

Baby/child seats, roof racks, ski racks and snow chains may be available in most destinations provided they are specially requested at the time of booking, although these items cannot be guaranteed at any time. In most cases a small charge will be made. The cost of these items is subject to change without prior notification.

Traffic Offences

Clients are responsible for any parking fines, tow away charges or impounding fees incurred by them. Please note that this rule also applies to airport waiting areas and cars must be redelivered to points as instructed at time of collection.

Cancellations

Lowcosttravelextras.com holds a charge for cancellations, unless the cancellation insurance has been taken at the time of booking. No refunds for no-shows at destination or failure to produce relevant documents including driving licence, early returns or cancellations after the hire start date. There are no refunds on any unused days. All communications regarding cancellations must be directed to admin@lowcosttravelextras.com quoting the booking reference and will take effect from receipt of communication. All vouchers once issued must be returned, prior to the refund of any payment that is due.

The terms and conditions of hiring vehicles are governed by local laws and the rental contract, signed locally on collection of the car, is legally binding on the hirer. All reservations are made by Lowcosttravelextras.com and all coupons and vouchers are issued by the company in their capacity as agents/intermediaries for the principals supplying the relevant services, upon the expressed condition that Lowcosttravelextras.com Car Hire Ltd is not responsible to the hirer for loss, damage, delay, injury, cancellation, alterations, irregularity or additional expenses suffered by the hirer whatsoever.

It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that he/she is aware of the correct date and airport of arrival and that the correct flight number and time of arrival are given. Failure to do so could result in the car not being available.

In this event, Lowcosttravelextras.com will not be held responsible.

Should there be cause for complaint, Lowcosttravelextras.com aims to resolve any query within 28 days of receipt, some complaints may take longer owing to the nature of the issue and the information provided.

The company reserves the right to amend prices and conditions of hire without notice.

All amounts and age limits shown above are subject to change by the local supplier and/or government agencies, including increases in local VAT or other tax without notice.

Transfers

The following terms apply in relation to contracts arranged by Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd, as agent for the supplier, for transfers between the departure points and destinations specified in the written confirmation issued by lowcosttravelextras.com and ResortHoppa.com, which are the trading names of Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd.

Status of the Passenger(s) and their agents

Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd is a limited company registered in England, whose registered office address is East House, 109 South Worple Way, London SW14 8TN. Its company registration number is 4933736 and its VAT Registration number is 848319889.

Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd is at all times acting as the duly authorised agent of the supplier nominated on the written confirmation issued by Lowcosttravelextras.com and / or ResortHoppa.com ("the written confirmation"). The terms and conditions applicable to the contract are those of the supplier and a copy of those terms will be supplied on request.

Status of the Passenger(s) and their agents

The purchaser of the transport services specified in the written confirmation is the other party to the contract with the nominated supplier. If the contract is made by an agent, or any other person acting on behalf of the passenger whose name appears on the written confirmation, then that agent or other person is acting as the agent of the passenger.

Booking and payment

Bookings may be made online (www.lowcosttravelextras.com) or by telephone. Where two or more people are included in the same booking, the person making the booking ("the lead name") shall be deemed to have done so on behalf of both or all members of the party and he or she accepts these terms and the terms and conditions of the nominated supplier on behalf of himself or herself and each member of the party.

Full payment is required at the time of booking. On receipt of such payment, Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd will issue, by email, fax or post the written confirmation with details of the persons involved in the booking and the transfers booked. The written confirmation acts as the 'ticket' and must be presented to the Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd representative for both the outward and return journeys.

All payments made to Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd are non-refundable unless, for reasons beyond its control, Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd cancels the booking.

Child Seats

The EU directive 2003/20/EC states that children must use an appropriate child seat until they reach 12 years of age or until they reach a height of 135 cm. However there is an exemption for licensed taxis. If no child seat is available, children of three years of age and over may travel as long as they wear an adult seat belt. Children under three years of age may be transported without a safety restraint as long as they travel in the rear of the vehicle.

Child Pricing

Shuttles: On shuttles no charge is made for children under the age of two as long as they sit on an adult passenger's lap. If a child of under two requires a seat they will be charged the full price. For children of two and above a seat must always be booked at the normal price for the shuttle in question.

Taxis and private transfers (other than private coach transfers): All children and infants count towards the occupancy of the vehicle, regardless of age, and thus should be included in the total number of passengers at the time of booking. If you require a child seat for a child, we strongly recommend that you bring your own due to the variation in quality and availability across destinations. In some areas we can request local child seats on your behalf. If a child seat is provided by the transport company a charge will apply.

Late bookings

We ask that any passengers travelling with a wheelchair advise Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd at the time of booking. This is vital to ensure that the correct vehicle is available to meet your specific requirements. We will need to be informed if wheelchairs are folding, manual or include a battery and/or motor. This policy also applies to scooters.

Amendments to bookings

Should you wish to change any details on the written confirmation, please inform us in writing as soon as possible either by email to admin@lowcosttravelextras.com, fax or post (please see contact details below) to Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd.

Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd, Sussex House, London Road, East Grinstead, RH19 1HH.

Telephone: 0871 855 0350 (Telephone enquiries are handled by ResortHoppa, a Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd company)

Fax from the UK: 0871 855 0351

Email Address: admin@lowcosttravelextras.com

Any amendments to the booking can be made on our website free of charge up to two days before departure. If notice of the required change is received by us by email, fax or telephone at least seven days before the date of the relevant transfer as shown on the written confirmation, outbound or inbound as the case may be, an amendment fee of £20 or 25 euros per booking will be payable before the change is made.

Changes made within 2 days of the date of the relevant transfer will be treated as a new booking and no refund will be made for the original booking. If the change results in any increase in transfer price as a result of the amendment the client must pay the price difference in the transfer booking and the administration fee.

Cancellation

Cancellations within 14 days of departure are subject to 100% cancellation fee.

Cancellations outside of 14 days will be refunded less a £30 administration fee if made over the phone or via email.

Late bookings

Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd operates a policy of accepting bookings made up to 24 hours from the time of departure (certain selected routes do have a 48 hour cut off). We will do our best to accommodate your requirements within this time and, if we do accept your booking we reserve the right to charge a £10 or 13.00 euros per booking administration fee to cover our costs.

Baggage allowance and declaration

All baggage must be clearly labelled with the owner's name and the destination address. Each passenger named on the written confirmation is entitled to have carried with him on the relevant transfers up to two items of baggage (i.e. one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage). If a passenger requires carriage of baggage in excess of this allowance (e.g. skis, golf clubs, snowboards, wheelchairs/scooters etc) we must be informed at the time of booking.

Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd reserves the right to make a charge for excess baggage, which must be paid prior to transportation, or to refuse carriage of the excess items.

Conditions of carriage

The nominated supplier, its drivers and appointed agents, including Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd, reserve the right to refuse to carry any person who is, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs and/or whose behaviour is considered to pose a threat to the driver, the vehicle or the other passengers. No refunds will be made in those circumstances.

Passengers are not allowed to consume alcohol on any of our vehicles. Smoking is not permitted unless express permission has been given by the driver.

All vehicles used by Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd are fully insured for passenger and third party claims, as required by the local law. Passengers' baggage is, however, carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage by the nominated supplier or by Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd. Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd will not accept responsibility for any costs incurred or the making of any arrangements in returning the items to you.

Whilst all reasonable efforts will be made by the supplier, there is no guarantee that the vehicle will arrive on time in order to begin the period of hire nor that it will reach its destination on time. Neither the nominated supplier nor Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd will incur any liability in the event of such a delay.

Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd and our nominated suppliers overseas will endeavour to monitor for any flight delays affecting arrival transfers. Whilst every effort is taken to monitor such situations we do ask that Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd are advised of any new estimated arrival times when available (and if practical) so that services can be rescheduled accordingly.

Shared shuttle clients encountering a flight delay will normally be reallocated to the next available service to their resort subject to availability.

If the arrival flight is diverted, we recommend that you contact Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd or our nominated supplier via the telephone numbers provided. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate changes of this nature, an additional charge may be applied.

Carriage by shared shuttle transfer will only be to and from destinations which are Tourist Board registered properties unless specifically agreed in advance. Clients having pre-booked private transfers are required to supply full address details at the time of booking.

As agents for the nominated supplier, Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd accepts no liability for the failure of the nominated supplier to perform the contract or for any other incident in connection with the contract.

We will, nevertheless, do all we reasonably can to ensure that the transfers are completed in accordance with the contract.

Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd will accept no liability for any difficulty or service failure if clients are not in possession of the appropriate transfer documentation outlining our arrival and departure procedures at their time of travel. We will not agree to any refund or compensation claims resulting from any service failure if passengers do not adhere to the procedures stated.

Our nominated local supplier will endeavour to carry shared shuttle passenger(s) with the minimum discomfort and inconvenience to his/her specified destination providing that this is a Tourist Board registered hotel, apartment or other Tourist Registered facility with full address. However circumstances beyond our control may prevent the achievement of this responsibility. The following are examples of circumstances which are not within our control:

  • accidents causing delays to the vehicle
  • exceptional or severe weather conditions
  • compliance with requests of the police
  • deaths and accidents on the road
  • vandalism and terrorism
  • unforeseen traffic delays
  • industrial action by third parties
  • problems caused by other customers
  • other circumstances affecting passenger safety
  • road closures due to local fiestas or other events
  • properties that are not accessible to type of service booked

In very rare cases the nominated local supplier may drop or collect passengers from a different point other than the accommodation address if the carriage to the exact specified accommodation may cause unreasonable delay or inconvenience for other passengers.

If the nominated supplier were to fail for any reason within their/our control to deliver passengers to their confirmed destination, we will endeavour to provide a suitable replacement. Any reimbursement made by Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd for the costs of an alternative means of transport incurred by the passenger to get to their ticketed destination shall be no more than the cost of getting to that destination by taxi.

IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT OF A COMPLAINT

Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd take all customer service matters very seriously. If you are not satisfied with any element of the service provided we ask that you contact Lowcosttravelgroup Ltd in writing within 28 days of the date of the transfer so that any issues can be investigated. Details must be received either by fax, email at customerservice@lowcosttravelextras.com or by post to Lowcosttravelgroup, Sussex House, London Road, East Grinstead, RH19 1HH.

All feedback must be received in writing and no verbal statements can be accepted. We do endeavour to resolve any complaints received in writing within 28 days where possible.

Interpretation and Application of these Terms

The terms which apply to the contract between the supplier and the lead name and his party are those of the supplier, a copy of which is available on request. If there is any conflict between these Terms and those of the supplier, then the latter will apply.

Delays

On your arrival
Wherever possible, we monitor flight and cruise ship arrival times for delays. However, it really helps if you can ring the emergency number on your booking confirmation — this will be a telephone number in the country you're travelling to — when you land/dock. If you've booked a private transfer, this will help us to get your driver to you as soon as possible.

If you've booked a shuttle transfer, you'll be allocated to the next available departure with seats available. Please note that this might not be for several hours or until the next day and in resorts where shuttles only operate on set days you may have to make your own arrangements at your own cost to get to your destination.

On your return
If there is a flight delay, we will pick you up as originally scheduled and will take you to the airport where you will have to wait until your flight departs. We regret we are unable to reschedule your return transfer if there is a delay to your flight.

If there is a delay to your return transfer due to weather, roads being blocked, etc., we'll inform you as soon as we know. We will operate your return transfer as soon as the roads are clear.

Resorthoppa regrets that we cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred due to a flight delay or missed travel connections resulting from poor weather conditions, state of roads or any other factors beyond our control.

Flight Cancellations

Resorthoppa regrets that we cannot refund transfers due to the cancellation of a flight. If you need to cancel the booking, please email admin@resorthoppa.com, confirming the reason for the late cancellation. We'll then issue you with a cancellation invoice that you may use to make a claim on your travel insurance.

If you cancel your outbound flight and still require your original return transfer, please contact us at admin@resorthoppa.com. If you book a new outbound flight out, we can try to arrange a new transfer for you on arrival (for which you will be charged), but you'll be able to keep your original return transfer.

Payment Terms and Charges

Lowcosttravelextras.com is part of the Lowcosttravelgroup.com who is a member of ABTA, the Association of British Travel Agents.

All the services booked for you have been booked by us as agents acting on behalf of the relevant principal.

We are not the principal.

Full payment is required at the time of booking. We will not confirm the booking unless we have received payment on behalf or the principal. Credit and charge cards carry a levy of £3.00 per booking; debit cards carry a levy of £1.00 per booking.

Please note any deductions from either card types will be shown as Resort Hoppa.com (part of the lowcosttravelgroup.com) on your statement.

Bookings made by phone are as legally binding as those made online or in writing. As soon as we have confirmed the booking, a contract will exist between you and the principal. All requests for a major change to an existing booking, including change of dates (which may be treated as a cancellation) changes in number of passengers travelling, and cancellation, must be notified by email to us at the email address shown above, and will not become effective until we have received such email notice.

Any changes to your booking will incur an amendment fee plus any charges levied by the principal (suppliers). In the event that you have to cancel then cancellation charges will apply. Please refer to our website for full terms and conditions or email admin@lowcosttravelextras.com.

Your commitment to us

When you ask for your attraction tickets to be confirmed, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of any contract between Lowcosttravelextras and yourself, which is subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Prices

Prices are inclusive of service charges and taxes and there are no surcharges whatsoever. Once you have paid in full or paid a deposit on a booking, we will not increase the price of your tickets.

Prices displayed on the site are subject to change without notice.

Payment

For all ONLINE BOOKINGS, FULL PAYMENT will be taken on pressing the book button and tickets will then be dispatched within 7 days.

With the main exception of Walt Disney World, Florida who now issue date stamped tickets, most tickets are non date specific.

Alteration or cancellation of the booking by you once a confirmation of booking has been issued will be subject to the charges outlined in the ‘if you cancel your booking’ section below.

Customers outside of the UK

Lowcosttravelextras hold contracts with all the major Parks and Attractions throughout the US and for contractual reasons we regret that we are not permitted to sell to customers outside of the United Kingdom. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Confirmation and issue of tickets

Lowcosttravelextras will issue a confirmation of booking and an invoice. The majority of tickets will be despatched within 72 hours of your booking for delivery within 7 days. If we are temporarily out of stock, we reserve the right to despatch tickets within 14 days of your booking. All tickets are dispatched by DX Secure Mail at no extra charge. However, for late bookings, a discretionary fee of up to £15 may be levelled at customers wishing to receive their tickets within 2 working days.

Your Tickets

The vast majority of tickets that we send are actual tickets with a high monetary value. They are our responsibility until they have been signed for by you. We send all theme park tickets by DX Courier delivery and these tickets must be signed for upon receipt. Non-theme park tickets are sent by regular mail and do not require a signature.

After you have signed for the tickets, they are your responsibility. As per our instructions on the confirmation invoice, we recommend that you photocopy the backs of the tickets as this will help the parks replace them should they be lost, damaged or stolen prior to your departure or while on holiday. However, we do not guarantee that the theme parks will be able to do so. This decision will be at their discretion and their decision will be final.

You should treat the attraction tickets as you would do your cash or passports and keep them safe at all time.

If you purchase our loss, damage, theft protection, the terms and conditions of that policy apply and these are:

We will replace lost, damaged or stolen tickets:

  1. Within 3 days if this occurs in the UK.
  2. Within 24 – 72 hours, organise replacement of tickets to be picked up at guest services at the relevant attraction in the USA, if this occurs while on holiday.

We will also provide you with an insurance document with an emergency helpline number.

Ticket Office

In some instances specific attraction tickets will have to be collected at the box office next to the entrance to the park.

Full details of where to collect these will be highlighted on your documentation.

If you cancel your booking

If you decide to cancel you should notify Lowcosttravelextras immediately. The following cancellation charges will be payable by you and any refund to you will only be paid once the tickets / vouchers have been returned to Lowcosttravelextras (if you already have them) and have not been defaced or damaged in any way.

Please contact us by phone to arrange this.

Please note that if you are cancelling tickets outright, then the cancellation charges outlined above in the section 'If you cancel your booking' will apply.

We reserve the right to cancel and fully refund bookings within 72 hours due to lack of availability or incorrect information supplied to us by our suppliers.

Surcharges payable locally

Very occasionally, there are local surcharges which cannot be pre-paid in the UK. We will always inform you of these at time of booking (before you pay) and will always inform you if and when they change.

HARD TICKETS: For some experiences Hard Tickets are issued rather than vouchers. Hard Tickets can only be dispatched to clients in the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Circumstances outside of our control

Lowcosttravelextras.com does not have to pay compensation or accept liability if our performance is affected by an event beyond our control. We include the following as events beyond our control: war or threat of war, riots, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, bad weather conditions, technical problems to transport, temporary or permanent closure of attractions or any other force majeure.

Documentation

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct passport and visas to gain entry to your chosen destination. If you fail to do so, Lowcosttravelextras.com accepts no liability.

Personal Insurance / Public Liability Insurance

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate insurance to cover you against any eventuality which may occur. We recommend you consult with your travel insurance provider to ensure that you are fully covered for any type of activity you may take part in whilst on your holiday. Lowcosttravelextras.com vigorously scrutinise all of our providers to ensure that their health & safety records are of the highest order so you can book with complete peace of mind.

Waiver, Release and Indemnity — Statement of Understanding

Some of the tours and experiences we sell involve hazardous activities, (for example diving with Great White sharks, white water rafting, driving motorized vehicles at speed, etc). You therefore may be asked to sign a waiver, release and indemnity statement to declare that you are voluntarily participating in these activities with knowledge of the dangers involved and thereby agree to accept any and all risks of injury or death. Whilst Lowcosttravelextras.com vigorously scrutinise all of our providers to ensure that their health & safety records are of the highest order, by signing a waiver, release and indemnity form, you are invalidating our public liability insurance (see above) and we therefore cannot be held responsible if an accident does occur.

You further understand that by signing a waiver, release and indemnity form before participating in your chosen experience, you are releasing any claims you may make against Lowcosttravelextras.com or any person employed or otherwise associated with us, from liability for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death arising from the activities that you wish to engage in. You understand that you are responsible for your own medical, evacuation and any other expenses relating to personal injury or death from your participation in your chosen activity.

Experience Descriptions

The details provided by Lowcosttravelextras.com on each experience are correct at the time we publish the information online. However, the content or format of experiences may change slightly during the year. We will of course make every possible effort to ensure that the information supplied is 100% accurate, however to do this we rely on this information from our suppliers. Your participation is conditional on your acceptance of the experience description detailed in your booking confirmation. Please check these details carefully upon receipt.

If you already have a booking with us and there is a significant change before you partake in your experience, we will inform you immediately and you will have the option to cancel / switch to another experience if you so wish.

Experience Images

The images used on our website to illustrate the experiences, particularly those that take place at more than one location, are used as an indication only. Whilst we have made every possible effort to ensure the accuracy of the information supplied, please be aware that the vehicles, craft, machines, animals and settings at each venue may vary.

Restrictions

Certain experiences are subject to minimum or maximum requirements; e.g. age, health or weight. We will confirm with you at the time of booking if any restrictions apply to the participant. Once booked though, you may be liable for charges if you have to cancel because the minimum requirements are not met.

At all theme parks, minimum height restrictions may apply for some rides for health and safety reasons. Persons under the minimum height will not be allowed to board the ride. The minimum height varies from ride to ride and park to park.

In addition, certain tours and experiences require a minimum number of participants before the tour/experience can take place. If there are insufficient numbers on the day, you will be offered an alternative tour which will be of the same value or greater. If you do not wish to partake in the alternative offered, you will have the option of a full refund on your return to the UK.

Please note that if there are insufficient numbers, you will be advised when you call 24/48/72 hours before (depending on the experience) to re-confirm your booking.

It is rare for a tour to be cancelled due to lack of numbers, but please be aware that this is a possibility.

The Weather

Many of Lowcosttravelextras.com's experiences are dependent on the weather and we always advise that you MUST call locally to re-confirm your booking at least 48 hours prior. If your experience is cancelled due to the weather you will be able to re-book, but your re-booked experience remains subject to weather conditions. If you are forced to cancel due to bad weather then you will receive a full refund.

Re-confirming your booking locally

Whether you've booked a specific date and time through us, or you've chosen to leave your experience open dated (where applicable), it's essential to re-confirm your booking on arrival. This enables our suppliers to inform you of any details that you may need on the day, for example to give you a name of the person to ask for who will be taking you on your experience, or to let you know exactly whereabouts you will be met, in relation to your hotel etc. If you have an experience which is 'open dated' then again you MUST call locally to confirm this on arrival at your destination.

Please note that all contact numbers will be supplied on your redemption voucher after booking.

Tours / experiences may also require a minimum number of participants before the tour can take place. Please see the section entitled 'Restrictions' for more details.
